About the Role
As a Bar Attendant, you’ll be responsible for delivering a friendly, efficient, and professional bar service within our busy family bar and event spaces. You’ll serve drinks, support guests, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and help ensure a safe, welcoming environment at all times. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll be part of a lively team delivering great guest experiences during busy days, evenings, and events. Your Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and efficient bar service to all guests.
- Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in line with company standards.
- Operate tills accurately, handling cash and card payments responsibly.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing laws and responsible alcohol service requirements (Challenge 25).
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all bar areas.
- Restock and rotate stock to ensure the bar is fully prepared for service.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and stock control.
- Support the team during busy periods to maintain smooth and efficient service.
- Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues professionally and calmly.
- Follow all health, safety, and company procedures at all times.
About You
- Aged 18 or over (due to licensing requirements).
- Friendly, confident, and great with people.
- Able to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, positive, and a strong team player.
- Calm under pressure, especially during peak service and events.
- Good attention to detail, particularly around cleanliness and responsible service.
- Willing to learn and follow licensing and safety procedures.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and school holiday periods.
