About the Role

As an Arcade Attendant, you will be at the heart of one of the Pier’s busiest attractions, helping guests have a fantastic experience while ensuring the arcade remains clean, safe, and fully operational.

This role involves customer service, cash handling, machine maintenance, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors of all ages.

  • Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and assist guests with enquiries.
  • Monitor arcade machines and report faults promptly.
  • Carry out basic machine maintenance, such as refilling tickets, prizes, and change.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the arcade.
  • Handle cash transactions and assist with prize redemptions.
  • Ensure guests comply with arcade rules and policies.
  • Support with opening and closing procedures.
  • Assist in preventing theft, misuse of machines, and other inappropriate behaviour.
  • Help create a fun, friendly, and welcoming environment for all guests.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Pier to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

About You

  • Must be aged 18 or over.
  • Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, proactive, and willing to learn.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Previous customer service or amusement arcade experience is desirable but not essential.
