Responsibilities

  • Clearly explain tasks to students and organise the distribution of resources.
  • Supervise students engaged in learning activities.
  • Act as a role model and set high expectations of conduct and behaviour.
  • Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all students within the classroom.
  • Encourage students to remain engaged and on task, responding to general queries.
  • Provide support for teachers within the classroom.

CCHS is a large, popular and inclusive 11‑19 comprehensive school that sits in the heart of our community. We operate across two sites, with colleagues teaching both at Walton Road (11‑16) and our sixth‑form college (16‑19), Sigma Sixth, based at the Tendring Education Centre.
