Job Description

As a qualified Environmental Health Officer, working as part of a team and, as required, in partnership with external agencies and organisations to help deliver a comprehensive Environmental Health service for the Council.

Discharging the full spectrum of Environmental Health duties within allocated geographical areas in order to manage, protect and improve public health and the environment. A key part of the role is regulatory with an emphasis on education and support.

Acting as a lead in at least one Environmental Health discipline to ensure the Environmental Health team are kept up to date with the latest changes and information.
