Job Description To provide an efficient and effective slating and roofing service with the ability and skills to carry out all slating and roofing works involved within the Maintenance Service.
The slaters key functions include: Ability to carry out all works involved with the slating and roofing trade All types of slating and roofing works – including flat roofing and sheet roofing works Organising own work in conjunction with the Supervisor, and decide on best methodology in the execution of such work As a representative of the Maintenance Service the slater will ensure the Council's values are promoted in every aspect of his work, with the remit to provide a seamless high quality response to the customer’s needs The slater will demonstrate high personal and professional standards, especially in respect of quality and customer service.
