Please note as this post is part time, your salary will be pro rata to hours worked. This is an exciting opportunity for a Lower Strings Specialist to join a progressive, energetic, evolving team of Instrumental Instructors. The successful applicant will be required to deliver individual and group teaching across the authority’s Secondary and Primary Schools.
They should have experience in Instrumental Teaching and knowledge of the current curriculum, preparation of pupils for SQA and external examinations, and ensemble conducting and tutoring. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the running of the various authority wide ensembles. You will have the support of an experienced Instrumental team and excellent opportunities for CPL and encourage the further development of your own artistic talent.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council. Further guidance will follow in your conditional offer of employment on how to apply.
Please note you will be required to pay for the cost of this application if your salary is over £38,000 per annum, which will be deducted from your first pay.
