As a Telehandler and Wheel Loader Product Manager for CLAAS UK (CUK), you will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle, driving sales growth and developing strong market positioning for CLAAS telehandlers and wheel loaders. You will act as the key product expert liaising between customers, dealers and internal teams to optimise product performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Take the lead on the product portfolio for telehandlers and wheel loaders for CUK.
- Drive sales growth by developing and executing targeted initiatives aligned with CUK's strategic goals.
- Identify new business opportunities, market segments, and dealership network improvements to expand market penetration.
- Customer and Dealer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and end-users to understand market needs and ensure optimal product offering. Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and training sessions to promote product features and benefits. Serve as the product specialist to resolve advanced customer inquiries, technical challenges and operational issues.
- Market Intelligence and Reporting: Monitor market trends, competitor products, customer feedback and regulatory developments relevant to telehandlers and wheel loaders. Provide timely market and product performance updates to the management team, including sales forecasts and opportunity analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, sales, after-sales service, academy and product development teams to ensure coherent market communication and high-quality customer experiences. Support dealer training initiatives and ensure dealer networks are equipped with necessary product knowledge and sales tools. Collaborate with teams across the wider group representing CUK.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in product management or sales within telehandlers, wheel loaders or related material handling equipment.
- In-depth understanding of the UK agricultural market requirements for telehandlers and wheel loaders.
- Strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently with a self-driven approach while effectively collaborating in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Technical knowledge of CLAAS telehandlers and wheel loaders, or equivalent machinery, is highly desirable.
- Valid UK driver's licence.
