Your Role In Our Team

  • We currently have three open positions for Tractor and Material Handling Territory Managers, with opportunities available in the North, East and West regions of the UK.
  • You will be responsible for driving sales, developing customer relationships and increasing market share for CLAAS tractors and material handling equipment within your assigned territory.
  • You will serve as a key point of contact for dealers regarding Tractors and Material Handling.

Leveraging your product knowledge and market insights to deliver exceptional service and support across your dedicated territory.

Main duties will include

  • Sales and Business Development
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for tractors and material handling equipment in the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement territory sales plans in alignment with CLAAS UK's objectives.
  • Provide coaching to dealer sales teams to ensure high levels of performance and enhanced communication.
  • Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong, long term relationships with dealers and key account customers.
  • Support product demonstrations to customers to highlight value propositions and features.
  • Work with Regional Sales Managers, Regional Aftersales Managers and CUK colleagues to resolve any customer issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support dealer training programs and ensure that dealers are well-equipped to represent CLAAS products.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports and market insights to management.

Your Profile

  • Qualifications and Experience
  • High level understanding of the agricultural industry products and technologies.
  • Field experience with regular customer contact and knowledge of dealer / distribution networks.
  • Experience working with large dealer networks.
  • Understanding of customer segments, production systems and their various requirements.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority in working with dealers and field managers.
  • Experience / skills with sales, handling objections and effective negotiations.
