The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

We are looking for two Field Sales Managers to join the team at CLAAS MANNS Saxham and at Spaldwick. These positions will be covering an established sales area in Suffolk / Cambridgeshire with a good existing customer base, which also contains potential growth with the right individuals.

Main Duties

  • Actively contacting customers and answering any queries they may have.
  • Liaising with both Parts and Service to fulfill customer requirements.
  • Planning customer visits to maximize your productivity and sales within your area.
  • Management of second hand machines to increase units sold.
  • Writing sales orders and quotations.
  • Demonstrating machines on farm, both on your own and with either our Machine Installation Demonstrators, or with the help of our 3rd Party Area Sales Managers.
  • Travel to our Head Office at Saxham from time to time, if not based there.
  • Supporting the sales team at local shows.

Essential Skills And Knowledge

  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Good understanding of modern farming and contracting practices.
  • Self-motivated and committed to presenting a professional image to the customer.
  • A sound product knowledge is required, although ongoing industry leading training at the CLAAS and HORSCH Academy together with a personal development plan will be put in place for the right candidate.
