Location: MANNS Braintree, Essex
We are looking to appoint a Working Foreman to assist with the day to day efficient running of the workshop and the mentoring of Service Engineers and Apprentices.
Main Duties
- Offer technical support and guidance to staff and customers.
- Conduct regular toolbox talks to ensure health and safety compliance.
- Review completed jobs to ensure warranty timelines are adhered to.
- Participate in projects to support the After Sales Manager.
- At all times be professional and ensure the high standards of the depot are maintained.
Essential Skills & Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, or be a fully qualified Service Engineer looking to take that next step on the career ladder. You should have excellent communication and organisational skills, work to high quality standards and be able to motivate a highly experienced team. Ability to work overtime will be essential, as well as a willingness to work harvest hours and out of season hours as required. As part of this role, you will be expected to be part of the service office rota to provide cover and support for both staff and customer requirements.
