Senior Digital Marketing Specialist (Google Ads & SEO)

We’re CLA Security Fencing Systems — a UK-based manufacturer of premium security fencing products. After two years working with outside agencies, we’re ready to bring our marketing in-house and are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team.

This is a senior-level, hands-on role where you will manage our Google Ads campaigns (£12k monthly spend) and lead our overall SEO strategy to grow our online sales.

Responsibilities

Google Ads (PPC)

  • Plan, build, and manage campaigns across Search, Shopping, Display, and Performance Max
  • Conduct keyword and competitor research, and manage negative keywords
  • Write high-performing ad copy and create product feeds
  • Set up and manage conversion tracking (Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Ads)
  • Monitor performance (ROAS, CPA, CTR, conversion rate) and optimise daily
  • Report on campaign results and recommend data-driven improvements

SEO

  • Develop and implement a long-term SEO growth strategy
  • Conduct technical SEO audits (site structure, Core Web Vitals, indexing issues)
  • Optimise product and category pages for target keywords
  • Manage link-building strategies and improve domain authority
  • Research competitors and deliver a content roadmap
  • Track and report on organic rankings, traffic, and conversions

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing both Google Ads and SEO
  • Proven experience managing £10k+ per month in ad spend
  • Strong understanding of Google Ads, Merchant Center, GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, and SEO tools (Ahrefs/SEMRush/Screaming Frog)
  • Proven results driving ecommerce growth (must provide case studies of ecommerce campaigns you’ve managed)
  • Confident analysing data and making commercial decisions
  • Able to work independently, full-time on-site at our offices

Salary & Benefits
