We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join the logistics team at a client of ours. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, including stock handling, order fulfilment, and inventory management. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced environment, with full training provided. Applicants should be physically fit, organised, and eager to contribute to a high standard of warehouse operations. Duties * Handling materials efficiently and safely within the warehouse environment * Operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery (training provided) * Managing stock levels using the warehouse management system (WMS) * Loading and unloading goods from lorries and containers * Conducting quality control checks to ensure product integrity * Assisting with shipping and receiving processes * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace at all times * Supporting mechanical maintenance tasks where required Skills * Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred * Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety procedures * Ability to operate forklift trucks safely (certification desirable) * Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous * Experience in shipping
