The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

We are recruiting on behalf of one of our clients in the area, for an experienced mechanical biased Maintenance Technician/Engineer. The main responsibilities will be to:

  • Attend breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
  • Complete scheduled planned and preventative routines and undertake necessary corrective actions.
  • Participate in investigating and correcting process, product and quality related issues.
  • Help with the fault finding, diagnostic and corrective actions to maintain and improve the operation of the process equipment.

The main skills required for the role include:

  • Knowledge of workshop equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical / mechanical drawings.
  • PLC experience.
  • Experience of high speed production machines.
  • Good mechanical appreciation and knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, pistons etc.
  • Experience of working with variable speed drives AC / DC.
  • Ability to plan, review and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives.
