We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Shift Mechanical Engineer to join our team and drive excellence in maintenance and operational efficiency. In this role, you will oversee the mechanical systems during your shift, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability across our facilities.
Duties:
- Monitor and operate mechanical systems during assigned shifts, ensuring continuous and efficient production processes.
- Diagnose mechanical issues promptly using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Lead maintenance activities, including scheduled inspections, repairs, and upgrades of machinery such as conveyors, pumps, motors, and other mechanical equipment.
- PLC experience; interpret schematics to identify faults or areas for improvement.
- Perform welding repairs when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, system performance logs, and incident reports for compliance and continuous improvement.
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical components, schematics interpretation, welding techniques, and electrical systems related to machinery operation.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs for automation control and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience managing teams of technicians or maintenance staff.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and other departments.
- Background in performing maintenance tasks that require electrical experience alongside mechanical expertise.
