CL Medilaw represents clients across the UK. We are recognised experts acting for people who have suffered a birth injury, brain injury, amputation, spinal injury, delay in diagnosing cancer and fatal injuries. We provide a holistic service to our clients with our involvement often including deputyship and trusts, and education and welfare advice. The level of expertise in our team is recognised by accreditations from The Law Society, AvMA, APIL and the Brain Injury Group.

Although the roles below are an immediate requirement, we will consider applications that reflect our culture at all levels. CL Medilaw operates nationally with key locations in Brighton, Birmingham, Oxford, Wilmslow and Kings Hill but with other offices including in Manchester, Chester, Exeter, Cheltenham, Leeds, Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield and York.
We are looking for a Paralegal to join our Leeds office as we continue to grow our Medical Negligence presence in Yorkshire.
Person Specification:
- Good organisation skills and methodical
- Willing to learn
- Hard working - we are very busy!
- Attention to detail
- Able to work both in a team and independently on tasks
- Prepared to volunteer for tasks and roles within the team/willing to “have a go”
- Reliable
- Empathetic/good listener - the issues our cases cover can be sensitive/emotional/difficult and require supporting our clients through difficult times and investigations.
- It helps if they have some understanding of clinical negligence/personal injury/civil procedure, but not essential
- Able to offer any skills to help promote the CL Medilaw brand: social media, blogs, articles etc (desirable, but not essential)
- Sense of humour - we like to have fun!
