About the role: The Security and Parking Officer works outdoors to provide safety for patients and staff, patrols car parks and gives directions, ensuring efficient park operations and protecting the hospital from loss, theft and damage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safety and car park patrolling provision to the NHS hospital.
- Patrol the hospital site, ensuring the safety and security of the site and its users.
- Assist in the efficient running of the car park and control room, while working towards continuous improvement.
- Be measured against Key Performance Indicators and make a real difference to the service.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and work in a fast‐paced yet caring atmosphere.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Valid SIA licence.
- Minimum age 18.
- Experience working outdoors in a security or parking role preferred.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and problem‐solving skills.
