You’ll gain in-depth hands-on experience working directly with the Chief Risk Officer in a fast-growing insurance group. What you’ll do
- Supporting the Chief Risk Officer and compliance team, helping to keep everything running smoothly and accurately.
- Researching and drafting risk reviews for member firms.
- Issuing annual risk reviews to Appointed Representatives (ARs).
- Assisting in Risk Control Self Assessments.
- Quality checking data in Complaints, Breaches, Advertising and Financial Promotions logs.
- Helping to submit CF1 applications and update FCA register details.
- Preparing Risk Committee and Management Information (MI) packs.
- Supporting regulatory monitoring and compliance communications to ARs.
- Assisting with compliance policy reviews, AR training and data protection breach management.
- Contributing to product governance reviews and fair value documentation.
What you’ll need
- Financial Services qualifications or training, with at least 5 years’ experience in compliance or risk.
- Strong understanding of FCA handbooks and ability to review and draft compliance policies.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and managing multiple priorities.
