Are you an experienced Commercial insurance broking sales professional? Do you feel undervalued at your current broker? Our client is a rapidly growing Independent Broker who has grown impressively since they launched in 2019. They now seek a proactive, driven and energetic commercial insurance specialist to join them as a Commercial Account Manager/Executive. You will be joining a broker with 30 staff in their Head office in Winchester, who have further exciting growth plans and have recently launched a new office in East Anglia.

Those who are highly skilled Commercial Account Executives with the ability to win new business, build a book of commercial business and retain clients at renewal are highly sought after. An existing book of business currently stands at £300k income, made up of mid-market clients across a range of sectors. There are a huge amount of high-quality leads available to help you grow your book quickly.

You will be required to manage this book, identify new business opportunities, cultivate new business relationships, and service this moving forward. There is no expectation that you bring a book of business with you, though this would be a bonus!

The broker seeks candidates with at least 4 years of commercial insurance broking sales experience and a solid working knowledge of general commercial insurance across a range of classes of business, dealing with various commercial clients. This is a great time to join, with loads of opportunity for development for the right people!

Basic salary on offer is £50-80k depending on skills and experience, plus car allowance and excellent bonuses. Other benefits include Death in service (x4 of salary), pension, and 21 days holidays (plus bank holidays), though this may be negotiable for the right person. Free on-site parking is also provided. Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, though the broker has an ethos of “getting the job done.”
