We’re looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our clients busy Real Estate Casualty team, leading a group of desk-based claims handlers and driving high standards of service delivery.
The Role
- You’ll manage and support a team handling liability claims, ensuring performance targets are met and workflows run smoothly. This includes overseeing claim allocation, handling technical queries, monitoring progress, and supporting team development through coaching and regular reviews.
- You’ll also manage team resources, including holidays and absences, and step in to handle escalations or complaints when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years’ experience handling liability claims (public liability essential)
- Previous experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders and competing priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Flexible to travel occasionally
