Corporate Claims Executive in Birmingham

We are currently recruiting for a well‑known insurance group, who have a rarely available opportunity to join them as a Corporate Claims Executive.

This role will be responsible for covering the brokerage’s Midlands‑based clients. While you will be attached to the London claims team, you will have the ability to work from their other regional offices. You will need to be in London at least one day a week and then can work from either London, Birmingham, Nottingham or Loughborough the other two days.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of Commercial Property and Liability claims across the Midlands region.
• Presenting claims to insurers via email and Electronic Claims File (ECF).
• Corresponding with solicitors, loss adjustors and brokers to discuss new and outstanding claims.
• Registering claims and First Notice of Loss (FNOL).
• Day‑to‑day handling of Property & Casualty claims.
• Preparation and presentation of claims bordereaux.
• Proactively managing a diary of open claims to reduce claim lifecycles.
• Performing any other ad‑hoc tasks that may arise.
• Building and maintaining relationships with aligned wholesale brokers.
• Attending site visits, new‑business meetings and claims reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Property & Casualty experience.
• Background in broking.
• Confident in attending site visits, new business meetings and claims reviews (independently or with team).

Benefits

Starting salary of £45,000‑£60,000 depending on experience, plus an annual bonus based on team and individual performance. You will receive 28 days holiday and an extensive benefits package.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. Three days in the office and two remote days. You must be present at the London office one day per week, and can work from London, Birmingham, Nottingham or Loughborough the remaining days.
