What you'll do:
- You will be dealing exclusively with farming clients, providing them with bespoke insurance solutions.
- Regular client site visits will be a big part of this role.
- You will be out seeing a number of clients in the farming sector, ensuring this well-known insurance business's existing customers are always well cared for via an annual renewal review, as well as identifying and proactively maximising cross-sell opportunities.
- You will also be the person managing all the farming accounts, so will have a degree of autonomy too.
What you'll need:
- To be considered you must have a farming/agricultural background and excel at building trusted, long-term relationships.
- This farming/agriculture background may come from employment, education or personal/lived experience (perhaps you grew up on a family farm, attended agricultural college, you live on a farm or your long-term partner is a farmer).
- They are looking for someone who knows this area well and has a real passion for the farming/agriculture sector, so you can relate with your clients and understand your core customers.
- You will have a minimum of 5 GCSEs at Level 5 / Grade C or above including English Language and Mathematics.
- You will need a UK Driving licence and your own vehicle as travel to customers' premises in rural locations is a key part of the role.
- You will also need to be a quick learner with a good memory, as there is a lot to learn here and you will need to file that away in your mind for the day you may need to use this knowledge!
