The Role
As a Commercial Account Handler, you will manage a varied portfolio of commercial clients, providing first‑class service and supporting the Director with the day‑to‑day management of accounts. You’ll work across a broad range of commercial insurance products including:
- Commercial Combined
- Property Owners
- Shop Insurance
- Technology Risks
- Engineering Insurance
- Liability
- Motor Fleet
- And other commercial classes
This is a client‑focused role where you’ll build lasting relationships, handle renewals, mid‑term adjustments, negotiate with insurers and ensure clients receive the highest levels of service and advice.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 3 years' commercial insurance experience within a broking environment
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products
- Experience managing client relationships and servicing accounts
- Acturis experience would be advantageous
- Working towards CII qualifications would be beneficial, although not essential
- A professional, self‑motivated and organised approach
- Someone who enjoys building long‑term relationships with clients and colleagues
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your workload
