Finance Administrator in Ely

Finance Administrator/Insurer Reconciliation Handler Salary: £25,000–£27,000 Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm Location: Ely | Fully office-based Looking for your next opportunity in finance? This could be the role for you! We're looking for an organised, numerate and detail-focused Insurer Reconciliation Handler to join a busy finance team. You'll play an important part in keeping insurer accounts accurate and up to date, investigating discrepancies and ensuring payments and reconciliations are completed correctly and on time. What you'll be doing: Reconciling insurer statements and investigating outstanding items. Completing monthly reconciliations and reporting any discrepancies. Setting up insurer payments through the bank. Reviewing financial transactions and checking data accuracy. Using Excel and finance systems to support day-to-day processes. Building positive relationships with internal teams and external contacts. Following financial procedures and maintaining high standards of accuracy. What we're looking for: Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail. Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills. A methodical, organised approach to work. Strong problem-solving and research skills. Confident communication skills and the ability to work with a variety of people. Previous experience in reconciliation, finance administration or accounts would be beneficial. The details: Salary of £25,000–£27,000, depending on experience. Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.
