Responsibilities
- Receiving and handling enquiries/correspondence in relation to underwriting applications and sickness benefit claims for policyholders
- Issuing and tracking of new applications and claim forms
- Preparing all received correspondence for the Underwriters and Claims Consultants and allocating as instructed
- Taking and making inbound and outbound calls to request/chase information to assist with the assessment of new contract applications, contract amendments and claims
Qualifications & Skills
- Confident communicator, able to build rapport with customers over the phone
- High level of attention to detail
- Good standard of education with a minimum grade ‘C’ GCSE, or equivalent, in Maths and English
Working Hours & Salary
- Office hours are 8:45am to 5pm
- Salary on offer is £24,500 to £25,500, including all the benefits mentioned above
- Hybrid working (you will need to be in the office 3 days a week)
