We are urgently seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Epping. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional who takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out all aspects of upholstery work to a high standard
- Manufacture and upholster seat pads, headboards, Chesterfields, armchairs, and other bespoke furniture pieces
- Accurately measure and cut fabric
- Strip, repair, and rebuild furniture frames as required
- Ensure all finished products meet company quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in all forms of upholstery
- Must drive
- Strong knowledge of traditional and modern upholstery techniques
- Ability to accurately measure and cut fabric
- Skilled in producing high-quality finishes across various furniture styles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
Desirable (Bonus Skills):
- Sewing experience
- Frame making experience
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid break). Weekend work available if desired.
