As our highly valued Lead Educator with our Newmarket team, you'll nurture children's curiosity, creativity and capability so they become confident lifelong learners. C&K Newmarket Community Childcare Centre is located off Baradine Street in Newmarket. Our centre is less than 15 minutes from the Brisbane city centre and close to bus stops servicing the area. As a home away from home, the spacious and natural environments within our centre are thoughtfully planned and well resourced, with opportunities to meet the needs and interests of all children.

Using your skills, ideas and passion for education, you'll:

• Create a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for children, their families and our wider community.
• Be supported by a team of kind, humble people who share their knowledge to help you learn, grow and achieve more than you ever thought possible.
• Take a lead role in planning, implementing and evaluating a stimulating play-based education program for children aged 0 to 5 years.
• Follow all reporting requirements, regulations and legislation to ensure we continue to lead the way in our field.

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have or be willing to work towards:

• A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).

You will bring a passion for achieving long-lasting, high-quality outcomes for children, their families and the community alongside a team-player mindset.
