The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
This role with our top 10 client will involve providing VAT advisory and compliance services to a wide range of corporate clients in the FTSE, FTSE, AIM and private equity backed and privately owned businesses.
The primary responsibility will be the management of a portfolio of existing clients and the development of targets in order to ensure the continued growth of the business.
You will also provide assistance to more senior members of staff in both client work and in the management of the group and on occasions the practice.
Key to the role is for you to be able to manage your own workload, communicating with directors/partners on a regular basis. This is essential due to the size and nature of the team.
Furthermore, you will be expected to be able to consider and highlight further opportunities to develop new work.
About You.
- Significant understanding and previous experience of UK VAT with in-depth knowledge of recent key updates and areas of focus.
- Responsibility for providing VAT advice to clients with a small amount of time spent on reviewing UK VAT compliance (you will take advantage of business development opportunities and will be fully supported in this).
- Ability to manage a large and varied client portfolio.
- Ability to actively seek opportunities for selling new services to existing clients.
- Experience of dealing directly with HMRC.
- Experience of dealing with client senior management and key stakeholders.
- Educated to degree level, and ideally CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent.
