Field Services Engineer

This role will be based from your home, covering the Liverpool/Manchester areas.

The Job:

1. Installation and commissioning of waste recycling equipment
2. Planned preventative maintenance of waste recycling equipment
3. Reactive breakdown attendance in line with company SLAs
4. Warranty repairs & reporting
5. Attending quarterly appraisals and training reviews
6. Providing accurate reports from each job attendance
7. Ensuring that van stock levels are correct
8. Adhere to company H&S policy & safety

Minimum Requirements:

1. Time Served Engineer with mobile experience.
2. 17th Edition Electrical qualification is desirable
3. Hydraulic Fault Finding and ability to read electric and hydraulic diagrams
4. Able to understand install documentation drawings
5. Worked in heavy/Industrial environment; direct experience within the waste/recycling is an advantage.
6. Experience working in a client-facing role.
7. Valid Identification & Full UK driving license

Additional Information:

1. Company phone, van, tools, work-wear, and Fuel Card supplied.
2. Full induction and H&S training will take place at the factory.
3. Field training with current engineering team will be provided to the successful candidate in the Field, giving exposure to recycling equipment & reporting systems.
4. The role is based on 39.25 hours per week, paid at standard rate (salary range £16-£20 per hour), with a requirement for additional hours worked at an overtime rate of 1.5.
5. You will also be required to participate in an on-call rota, which is 1 in 4 weekends. The retainer rate is £75 per weekend, with payments for hours worked.
6. 29 days holiday (inclusive of bank/public holidays)
