CK Group are recruiting for a Site Lead on behalf of an industry leading manufacturer of Scientific instruments, to be based on one of their client sites in Slough, on a permanent basis. About the role: The successful candidate will take ownership of a key account, managing operations, shaping a high‑performing culture, and building strong partnerships with clients and teams. Your responsibilities will include: Lead a growing team of engineers and administrators to deliver outstanding service every day. Build trusted relationships with clients, end users, and partners, becoming the go‑to person for collaboration and problem‑solving. Ensure that services are delivered at the highest standard with compliance, safety, and client satisfaction always front of mind. Identify opportunities to improve, innovate, and expand services and turn them into action. Manage the site operations with clarity and accountability, making sure KPIs are met and that the service truly adds value to the client. Ensure that all activities carried out on site are aligned to the MSA and SOWs, and that any scope creep is escalated to customer and account leadership. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, leadership, and internal stakeholders on service performance, KPIs, and operational initiatives. About you: Educated to degree level or above in a relevant Scientific or Technical field with demonstrated experience in a similar role. Hands‑on experience in a laboratory or regulated environment, with knowledge of Pharma, Biotech, or Medical Device industries. A background in planning, operations or engineering that helps bring structure and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication skills and a confident presenter. Experience in budget management and financial accountability. Experience in managing and building a successful team as well as building trusted client relationships.
