CK Group are recruiting for a Food Science Technician to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for 3 months. This is a site-based role in Reading but may include travel to the Wokingham lab.
Salary: £13.30 ph PAYE
Role:
- Perform routine analysis and sample preparation
- Produce reliable, accurate data and keep accurate records of laboratory work
- Follow product formulations and methods to produce food products at bench or manufacturing scale
- Perform laboratory tasks following specified methodologies
Your Background:
- Have a background, or understanding of food safety
- Worked in a food environment such as a lab, kitchen etc
- Hold A levels in a scientific subject
- Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to follow written instructions
- Good written and verbal communication skills
