Job Title Quality Technician CK Group is seeking a Quality Technician for a 3-month contract to support one of the world’s largest producers of silicones and silicone derivatives, based in the North West. Duties and Responsibilities: Contribute to laboratory operations, including custom compound test sample preparation. Perform QC testing on custom compounds. Prepare samples for customers. Provide laboratory support for production. Investigate complaints. Maintain accurate records of QC test data and batch documentation. Organize QC sample retains. Ensure a high level of housekeeping within the laboratory. Pursue Health & Safety projects. Support manufacturing operations. Requirements: HNC / Degree in a science or technical subject. Working experience in a silicone/rubber material physical testing laboratory would be advantageous. Estimated Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
