Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician, to join an ingredients and additives manufacturing company, based in Epping.

This is a temporary role (with definite scope to go permanent) with a salary ranging from £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, pro-rata, dependent on experience.

The Company:

Our client is a manufacturer of ingredients that are supplied to the food, industrial and personal care industries. They hold a number of accreditations including BRC, Kosher, Halal, RSPO and more.

Location:

This Laboratory Technician role is located in Epping, an easy drive from Harlow, Enfield, Chelmsford, Hatfield and other surrounding areas. It is also accessible on the London Underground via the Central line, with the site being a short distance from Epping tube station.

Laboratory Technician Role:

Your main duties will be:

  • Carrying out procedures and quality control tests in accordance with company food safety standards.
  • Performing laboratory research projects under Managerial supervision - these may include cooking and functional tests.
  • Performing equipment calibration to ensure result validity.
  • Accurately recording test results and data and maintaining records.

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Chemistry.
  • At least 1 years' experience working in a laboratory with high safety and standards.
