CK Group are recruiting for a Junior Coatings Technician, to join a paints and coatings manufacturing company, at their site based in Manchester, on a full time, permanent basis. Our client is an established independent organisation, who are committed to the development of their staff, as well as to the growth of the company.
The successful Coatings Technician will ensure the smooth running of the coatings lab, by providing services to both internal and external customers. This Coatings Technician role will be based at the company's site in Manchester, easily commutable from surrounding areas.
- Formulation and testing of paints, coatings and finishes.
- Providing technical advice and support to new and existing customers - travelling within the UK to customers.
- Scaling up formulations for initial trials and commercial batches.
- Providing QC documentation for raw materials and finished products.
- Experience in development and formulation of solvent and water-based paints and coatings - alkyd, epoxy and polyurethane.
