Job Description
CK Group are recruiting for a Site Manager, to join a Waste Management company, at their site based near Birmingham, on a full time, permanent basis.
The Company:
Our client is an established and leading company in hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, in the West Midlands.
Site Manager Role:
Your main duties will be:
- Managing a busy waste management site.
- Taking full P&L ownership of the facility.
- Leading Health and Safety and Compliance initiatives in all aspects of the site.
- Ensuring excellence in staff training across the site.
- Optimising efficiency via KPI implementation and tracking.
- Leading HR, contractor and compliance protocols.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:
- Degree-level education in Chemistry/a related Science.
- At least 5 years' experience working in the Hazardous Waste Industry.
- Experience of managing large teams.
- WAMITAB.
- NEBOSH/IOSH is desired.
