Job Description

CK Group are recruiting for a Site Manager, to join a Waste Management company, at their site based near Birmingham, on a full time, permanent basis.

The Company:

Our client is an established and leading company in hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, in the West Midlands.

Site Manager Role:

Your main duties will be:

  • Managing a busy waste management site.
  • Taking full P&L ownership of the facility.
  • Leading Health and Safety and Compliance initiatives in all aspects of the site.
  • Ensuring excellence in staff training across the site.
  • Optimising efficiency via KPI implementation and tracking.
  • Leading HR, contractor and compliance protocols.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience:

  • Degree-level education in Chemistry/a related Science.
  • At least 5 years' experience working in the Hazardous Waste Industry.
  • Experience of managing large teams.
  • WAMITAB.
  • NEBOSH/IOSH is desired.
