A global specialty pharmaceutical company is building a new UK Integrated Healthcare Specialist (IHS) team to support entry into a new specialist therapy area within secondary care (dermatology/immunology). This is a rare opportunity to join a business entering a new TA, help shape its UK footprint, and play a key role in pre-launch preparation and early commercial execution ahead of wider team expansion later in the launch cycle.

The Integrated Healthcare Specialist is a hybrid commercial and access-focused role, combining strong sales capability with account development, pathway understanding, and stakeholder engagement across secondary care. You’ll be part of a newly created field team, responsible for building relationships, preparing accounts for launch, and supporting early uptake planning in a compliant, non-promotional environment. A future Key Account Management structure will be introduced post-launch, with the IHS team continuing to play a critical role in access and commercial delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre-Launch & Stakeholder Engagement
    • Build compliant relationships with secondary care specialists and wider account stakeholders
    • Deliver disease education and scientific exchange in line with pre-launch guidelines
    • Identify early advocates, launch accounts, and centres of influence
  • Hybrid Commercial & Access Focus
    • Combine sales excellence with market access and account management activity
    • Understand local NHS pathways, funding mechanisms, and decision-making processes
    • Support identification and removal of access and adoption barriers
    • Work closely with Medical Affairs and Market Access colleagues
  • Account & Territory Planning
    • Develop and execute robust territory and account plans
    • Map stakeholders and payer networks within accounts
    • Gather insight to inform launch strategy and targeting
  • Cross-Functional Working
    • Feed field insights into brand and launch planning
    • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Medical and Market Access teams
  • Compliance
    • Operate to the highest standards of compliance and governance (ABPI Code)
