Talentmark are recruiting for a Device Engineer to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months.
This role is based at our client's site in Great Abington, Cambridge.

Salary
£21.31 ph PAYE or £23.88 ph via umbrella company.
- Device Engineer Role
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in device development.
- Responsible for risk assessment and mitigation, including execution and analysis of experimental work.
- Design test rigs and challenge parts.
- Responsible for a wide variety of ISO 13485-related documentation.
- Prepare scientific reports of experiments, data analysis and data verification.
- Support early-stage usability and market research studies to identify user requirements.
- Your Background
- Hold a relevant scientific or engineering degree, or have equivalent working experience.
- Good knowledge of mechanical and/or electronic testing of drug delivery devices.
- Previous experience of working with device control system life cycle and device testing.
- Working experience of test method development and validation.
- Understanding of GLP/GMP and laboratory safety.
- CAD (preferably Creo) and associated document management systems.
- Engineering calculations eg. Free body diagrams, friction, beam bending.
