CK Group are recruiting for a Design Engineer to join a multinational, multi-industry company, on a contract basis until the end of August 2026.
Salary: From £450 - £570 per day (Inside IR35).
In this contract you will be leading and delivering design for protection and control systems and associated auxiliary systems at Transmission and Distribution levels.
Your Background:
- HNC/HND in related engineering field.
- Knowledge of Transmission or Distribution practices (400kV to 11 kV).
- Understanding and knowledge of Distribution Network Operator, National Grid etc. standards and drawing practices.
- Previous experience as a CDAE and experience with major contractors such as National Grid, SSE, Siemens, or GE is preferable.
The Company: Our client is a multinational company in a range of industries including renewable energy.
The Location: The role is hybrid, primarily home-based with occasional meetings at the Birmingham office.
