CK Group are recruiting for a Mechanical Estimator to join a building services contractor located in Alfreton on a permanent basis.

Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Plot simple pipework, ventilation, and air conditioning schemes on to building layouts to establish a basic design principle.
  • Performance of full mechanical take-offs for HVAC and pipework, including valves, fittings, heating systems and sanitaryware.
  • Use of a combination of estimation software (Cypher1), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word to produce a tender, cost schedules, client letters.

Requirements:

  • Experience in HVAC & Plumbing estimating.
  • Experience dealing with commercial base-builds and fit-outs of mega-sheds/warehouses including office.
  • Experience dealing with multi-room residential/student accommodation blocks (not essential but preferable).
