CK Group are recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join a global healthcare provider to hospitals, clinics and homes on a contract basis for 3 months initially, with the possibility of extension.

This is a shift-based role 4 on 4 off with 12 hour shifts, including days and nights. 40.25 hours per week.

Salary:
£23.50 per hour PAYE

Warehouse Manager Role:

Responsibility for the safe and effective operation of warehouse activities.
Responsibility for the operation and accuracy of the Warehouse Stock Management System.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with current Health and Safety legislation, COSHH, and current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
Monitor the performance and potential of the team and provide the direction and motivation necessary to secure optimum commitment, competence and performance.
Liaise with Production, Engineering, Quality Control and other departments to ensure work procedures are complied with.
Establish and control the warehouse KPI’s to ensure effective & efficient management of the warehouse operation.Your Background:

Ability to prioritise workload and resources in order to fulfil the Company\’s needs.
Effective communicator, logical thought process, and be able to influence others through reasoned discussion.
Experience in a GMP warehouse environment .
Prior Warehouse Management experience.
Good working knowledge of Lean Thinking and implementation of lean projects.
Ability to coach and develop subordinates and peers by acting as a mentor where required.Company:
