CK Group are recruiting for a Support Technologist, to join a flooring company, at their site based near Worcester, on a full time, permanent basis. Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 dependent on experience. The Company: The company is a manufacturer of Indoor Flooring for commercial and residential purposes. Location: The Support Technologist role will be based at the company’s site, easily commutable from Stratford-upon-Avon, Eckington, Offenham, Evesham, Draycott, Worcester and Cheltenham,. Main duties of this Support Technologist Role: The role will be based in two areas: New Product Development (NPD) – mechanically testing future products, incoming products – coatings, textures and finishes. Claims handling – mechanically testing products flagged up by customers to identify faults. Both sides of the role will require report writing. Testing methods are the same for both claims and NPD. The ideal candidate for this role will have the following skills and experience: A technical background in a scientific subject (ideally physics, engineering or chemistry). Minimum 3 A-Levels in scientific/technical/mathematical subjects. Scientific and analytical mindset. Accurate, precise and meticulous.
