Production Scientist

CK Group are recruiting for a Production Scientist, on behalf of a medical diagnostic company. This role will be based at their site in Sunderland and is a permanent role, with Mon-Fri day time working hours. \\n\\nThe Role:\\n\\n Your main responsibility will be to assist in the manufacture and packaging of components, for use in Electrophoresis and Haemostasis kits, and to help with the day to day running of the departments.\\n\\n You will also assist in planning the associated paperwork, and the continuous improvement of production practices and introduction of new methods.\\n\\nResponsibilities:\\n\\nSupervision of the Biologicals Department.\\nProduction Planning.\\nAssist in the manufacture of antisera, buffers etc.\\nWriting and review of Production Documentation and Procedures.\\nStock Control.\\nTraining of staff.\\nTo work in accordance with Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines. \\n Essential Skills: \\n\\nBSc Level education in a scientific subject.\\nThe ability to work to tight deadlines.\\nGood attention to detail.\\nA flexible approach to work / willingness to help in other areas as required.\\nWorking to GMP guidelines.\\nAdherence to the requirements of ISO13485.\\nAdherence to Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines.\\nAbility to plan the workload for yourself and others.\\nA good understanding of electrophoresis.\\nApply:\\n\\n It is essential all applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
