Job Description
CK Group are recruiting for a Food Science Technician to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for initially 6 months (temp-to-perm a possibility).\\n\\n Salary: £16.67 per hour PAYE\\n\\n Food Science Technician role:\\n\\nCarrying out practical work to support project managers to help develop new products and solve any challenges associated with formulating, application of ingredients and development of novel food processing techniques.\\nEnsure effective organisation of assigned workload, provide high quality product samples, and timely/accurate provision of results. \\nProvide training in routine lab activities and housekeeping duties.\\nBe competent in the operation of all kitchen equipment.\\nWorking in accordance with the quality standards and health and safety requirements of the development kitchen.Your Background:\\n\\nEducated to Degree / HNC level in a relevant scientific discipline or equivalent relevant experience in a laboratory.\\nGood understanding of basic lab equipment.\\nSome practical experience in a development kitchen would be a bonus.\\nComputer literate in standard MS office applications\\nAccountable, honest, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.Company:\\n Our client is a world leader in food, confectionery and beverages.
