CK Group are recruiting for an EHS Specialist, to join a chemical manufacturing company, based in Derbyshire, on a temporary basis. This position will provide assistance with day to day EHS, within a leading Semiconductor and Electronic Materials manufacturing company, in process safety.
The Company: Our client is a leading manufacturer of advanced chemicals and materials, supplying to many companies worldwide.
Your main duties will be:
- Develop and implement process safety management systems.
- Assist with process safety aspects of a chemical process site.
- Provide guidance on current legal requirements for hazardous chemicals handling.
- Undertake and lead accident investigations and create accident reports.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety studies and hazard analyses.
Your Background:
- Demonstrable experience of EHS legislation.
- Process safety qualification such as NEBOSH certificate.
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in an EHS role, within a manufacturing environment.
- At least 3 years of work experience in specific Process Safety Engineering job roles.
It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
