CK Group are recruiting for a Nurse Educator (Diabetes) to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months working across the Greater Belfast territory.
Salary: Paying up to £185 per day PAYE or £230 per day Umbrella (inside IR35)
Nurse Educator Role:
- Training & Education: Deliver engaging and effective training to healthcare professionals and patients in one-on-one and group settings.
- Patient Support & Empowerment: Train patients and caregivers on use of a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system and associated applications to enable effective diabetes management.
- Clinical Expertise & Support: Provide expert technical guidance and support on use and management of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) to healthcare professionals, and patients.
- Customer Relationship & Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with patients, key stakeholders, including nurses, GPs, endocrinologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Operational Effectiveness & CRM Management: Maintain accurate training records and documentation in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Your Background:
- Essential: Current Registered Nurse (RN)
- Essential: Previous experience as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse (DSN) or equivalent.
- A specialist qualification or significant experience/interest in diabetes care.
- Experience in delivering training to both healthcare professionals and patients in group and individual settings.
- Strong understanding of diabetes management, including medication, monitoring, and lifestyle interventions.
- Familiarity with NHS structures and processes in both primary and secondary care.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and experience in maintaining customer interactions.
- Must have full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
