We are looking for an experienced Multi-Trader to join our growing team, covering Dartford and the Essex area. This role combines on-the-tools work with surveying and assessment duties, so strong attention to detail and good reporting skills are essential.
The Role
- Carrying out multi-trade works across residential and commercial properties
- Strong focus on Carpentry and Decorating (essential)
- Attending call-outs and reactive maintenance jobs
- Surveying incoming jobs, assessing scope of works, materials, access, and time requirements
- Producing clear job reports, measurements, and recommendations for follow on works
- Liaising with the office to support pricing, scheduling, and job planning
- Updating job details, photos, and notes using computer-based systems
- Working on schools and public buildings, as well as private properties
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Multi-Trader
- Strong Carpentry and Decorating skills
- Experience carrying out job surveys or condition assessments
- Confident measuring, identifying remedial works, and reporting accurately
- General admin and computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, job management systems)
- Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for surveys, photos, and reporting
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- CSCS card β required
- DBS check β preferred (or willing to obtain)
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
