CJS Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Physics Lecturer to join a well-established further education college in West London. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and knowledgeable Physics Lecturer to inspire students, deliver engaging lessons and support learners in developing their scientific knowledge and understanding. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical and practical teaching, helping students achieve their academic goals and progress towards further education or employment. Key Responsibilities * Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons to students across relevant qualification levels. * Teach theoretical concepts and practical scientific principles. * Prepare lesson plans, presentations, learning resources and practical experiments. * Make complex scientific topics accessible and engaging for students. * Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records. * Support learners with their academic development and achievement. * Prepare students for examinations and coursework assessments. * Maintain a safe and organised classroom and laboratory environment. * Ensure all teaching activities comply with health and safety requirements. Requirements * Degree in Physics or a closely related scientific subject. * Strong subject knowledge and understanding of Physics principles. * Previous teaching or lecturing experience within Further Education would be advantageous. * A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) would be desirable. * Excellent communication and classroom management skills. * Ability to deliver engaging lessons to students with different learning abilities. * Passion for education and supporting student development. * Relevant industry or academic experience will also be considered.
