We are looking for an experienced Engineer to join our team on a construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately setting out steelwork and marking coordinates from technical drawings on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out steelwork accurately from construction and engineering drawings.
- Marking coordinates and positions on site using drawings and surveying equipment.
- Taking measurements and ensuring steelwork is positioned correctly.
- Working closely with steel erectors, site managers and other engineering teams.
- Checking dimensions, levels and alignments against drawings.
- Identifying and reporting any discrepancies or issues with drawings or site conditions.
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to project specifications.
- Maintaining a high standard of health and safety on site.
