Salary: 80,000 - 90,000 + package

CJS are representing an established contractor delivering specialist fit-out, refurbishment and decarbonisation projects across the commercial sector. Following continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to appoint either a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor to work directly alongside one of the company’s Directors and become a key part of the commercial function. This is a hands-on role suited to someone looking to take ownership of projects commercially whilst helping shape processes and support the next stage of growth. Projects typically range from 50k - 2.5m, with selected schemes extending up to 16m+.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the commercial delivery of fit-out, refurbishment and decarbonisation projects
  • Ownership of cost reporting, forecasting, CVRs and commercial performance
  • Subcontract procurement, package management and account administration
  • Managing variations, change control and final accounts
  • Supporting project teams through delivery and maintaining commercial control
  • Working closely with Directors on strategy, risk and commercial decisions
  • Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff within a growing team
  • Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners
