We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer to join a further education setting on a long-term contract.

The Role
As an Electrical Installation Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations theory and practical training and support the development of next generation of electrical professionals.
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.
- Promote a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Support learners in developing their technical and practical abilities.
- Ensure all teaching and practical activities are delivered in line with relevant health and safety requirements.
- Work with colleagues to support learner achievement and in line with relevant requirements
- Support learners with progression into employment, aprenticeships and futher study. About you: We are looking for someone with:
- Proven teaching experience, ideally within Electrical Installation or a related Further Education setting.
- Relevant Electrical Installation qualifications.
- A clear Enhanced DBS covering both the Child and Adult Workforce. registered on the Update Service.
- Candidates who do not currently hold a valid DBS certificate must be willing to undergo the required DBS check prior to starting the role
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training.
- Up-to-date Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) training.
- Up-to-date Prevent / Preventing Radicalisation training.
- Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
