We are currently seeking an experienced Appointed Person to oversee lifting operations on-site. This is an immediate requirement, and candidates must be available to start as soon as possible. The works will involve lifting steels using a Niko rail system, Minifor hoist, and slings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and supervise lifting operations.
  • Ensure lifting plans are adhered to and all operations are carried out safely.
  • Coordinate with site teams, crane/lifting operatives, and other relevant personnel.
  • Carry out toolbox talks and ensure all lifting equipment is used correctly.

Requirements:

  • CPCS Appointed Person (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience managing lifting operations, particularly with Niko rail and Minifor systems.
  • Good understanding of lifting gear, slinging techniques, and safe working loads.
  • Ability to create or interpret lift plans and method statements.
